Employment Advisor Support

Within the Lifecycle Mental Health Service we have a specialist Employment Advisor who can support people with a range of employment related issues whilst they are having therapy.

Our Employment Advisor works with anyone who is assessed as suitable for the service who has any employment issues they would like support with.  You can be either employed or unemployed, and it doesn’t matter whether you are claiming benefits or not.  The focus is on improving your health and well-being in relation to your employment goals.

Progression – To aid the recovery process, increase confidence and self-esteem and to develop skills to help progress you closer to employment.

Paid Employment – To work together on a one-to-one basis and compile an individual action plan to support you to overcome any barriers to paid employment or changing career role.

Retention – To liaise with employer and employee to open lines of communication, and provide advice and guidance to both parties to achieve a successful return to work.
